University of Buffalo Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and the Allstate Foundation are offering a great resource and opportunity to Bailey Avenue’s small business owners and entrepreneurs – the Allstate Minority and Women Emerging Entrepreneurs Program! The program offers training and resources for entrepreneurs of all levels, including courses on Marketing, Finance, Leadership, R&D, Presentation skills and SWOT analysis.
The Allstate Minority and Women Emerging Entrepreneurs program was created to enable minority and women entrepreneurs to move their companies to the next stage of development. The goal of this new initiative is to bring the resources of our existing Allstate MWEE Program directly to the entrepreneurs in the Bailey/Kensington neighborhood. We hope to have a larger impact by focusing on one designated business community, assisting by way of business development seminars, mentorship, relationship building and networking opportunities. The program is designed to help participants learn more about the varied aspects of running a business and devise realistic business goals and develop strategies for achieving them.
The course runs from mid-January to mid-July 2014 with classes 2-3 times per month.
Bailey Avenue Business Association members receive 1/2 off tuition!
