University at Buffalo – Volunteer Project RFP

UB - Community Service ProjectsIn the past, UB Community Day has been an extremely successful and highly appreciated day of service in the community by the hands of UB faculty, staff, and students all alongside community residents. From neighborhood beautification, to improving community centers and atmosphere, UB Community Day is aimed at building bonds between the students, faculty, staff and the community.

Dear Bailey Avenue Business Association Members,

I’m reaching out to you on behalf of the UB Office of Community Relations in regards to the upcoming Fall 2013 Community Day!

This fall, the event will take place on Saturday, November 16th, 2013 to bring together helping hands and neighborhood projects.

UB Office of Community Relations is seeking eligible outdoor and indoor projects (due to possible inclement weather) where volunteers will work alongside community residents for this celebrated day of service. Some examples of projects include scraping & painting, landscaping, and assisting with cleaning a neighborhood facility, among other possibilities.

*If you feel you have an eligible project or know someone who does, please fill out the UB Community Day – Project Request Form Fall 2013 for consideration and return to me via E-Mail, Fax, or Mail.
